Reliant Constructions is a bespoke building company with a team of 20 core staff comprising project managers, site supervisors, carpenters, apprentices, labourers, and our amazing admin team.
In addition, Reliant has a reliable network of high-quality contractors and specialist artisans with whom we have collaborated over many years on numerous projects to deliver excellent outcomes. The Reliant team draws on their extensive experience to find unique solutions to enhance design and solve construction challenges.
Over the last 10 years, Reliant has completed over 50 major projects, mostly in the Sydney North Shore and Northern Beaches areas, spanning from Neutral Bay up to Palm Beach.
History
Reliant Constructions was founded in 2013 by Douglas Ditchfield as the natural progression to his 45+ years of experience in the residential construction industry. During this time he has won prestigious awards as well as managing award winning projects including the winning home in the NSW Master Builders Association ‘Excellence in Housing’ award in the category of Design and Construction for homes over $2 million.
Doug is no ordinary builder, having also added bachelor degrees in law, linguistics, and theology to his carpenter’s credentials. These further areas of study uniquely equip Doug with the skills to communicate clearly and to properly manage the complex process of large residential building projects.
