What is Home for a Home?
When clients choose Reliant they are also choosing to provide a home for a family who do not have a safe place they can call home.
Through our ‘Home for a Home’ program, Reliant has committed to funding the cost of building a home for a family in need each time we build a home here in Australia.
We work closely with partner organisations in different countries, constructing homes and providing training in various building skills as part of our larger commitment towards holistic community development. In this way, we aim to equip and empower these communities with the skills they need to support themselves into the future and break the cycle of generational poverty.
The Home for a Home program seeks to provide updates at some of the key stages of the construction process and a short video introducing the beneficiaries at the completion of the project. For many years to come we hope these people will fill their home with love and laughter, taking delight in a safe and joy-filled space they can share together with family and friends.
This is made possible through families who choose to build with Reliant Constructions here in Sydney, and is our way of helping those in need, as well as saying ‘thank you’ for choosing us.
